Professional Background
Davis’s background includes diverse experience across investing, strategy, and operations roles. Prior to founding DoubleJack, Davis was an investor at Berkshire Partners, a private equity firm with $20 billion AUM, where he led successful M&A transactions in consumer, healthcare, and technology companies.
With an early career in engineering and management consulting, Davis possesses a keen eye for developing efficient systems and processes. He previously worked as a Consultant for Boston Consulting Group, where he advised and implemented growth strategies for Fortune 100 clients.
He began his career with The Boeing Company as an Aerospace Engineer on the 787 Commercial Airplane Program and the SLS Rocket Program.
Davis received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he graduated with honors.
Personal Background
Davis was born and raised in Charleston, SC and grew up among five siblings. He has always been active in sports: golfing with his dad, surfing with friends, and playing baseball throughout high school and on the club team at Duke.
A passionate people leader, Davis previously served his community as Co-Chair of the Young Professionals Board for the Boston chapter of Friends of The Children and served as a member of the Fundraising Committee for the Young Professionals Board of Boston Collegiate Charter School.
Davis currently lives in Durham, NC, where he is a devoted husband to his wife, Lindsey, and owner/parent to his beagle puppy, Weller. Today, in his spare time, Davis is an avid golfer, skier, and amateur guitarist.
